3TM International conducted multiple field campaigns in order to provide site characterization and forensic identification of widespread releases of cresote chemicals, primarily polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, throughout a large community in the Florida Everglades. The Environmental media sampled included surface soil, sediment, airborne dust, indoor household dust,surface water, and groundwater. Contamination to depths of 80 feet below the surface was detected using electromagnetic imaging techniques and conventional drilling.
